Now that I'm directing all of my writing mojo at a novel (rather than at short stories), I've become paranoid of plot holes. Here's a funny example of a (MAJOR) plot hole in Lord of the Rings:
The takeaway from that video is that I'm definitely not going to have any huge eagles in my novel! Although I suppose LOTR ended up doing somewhat ok even with the plot hole. :-)
