I've written a lot of random short stories over the years, and I used to host quite a few of them at authorama.com. It was fun, because I'd occasionally get requests from people asking if they could translate one of my stories into Spanish, or convert one of them into an audiobook, or write a report on one of them for a class.
I received one such random request from Laura Krause. She asked if she could convert a story of mine into a movie, and of course I said yes. Time passed and I forgot all about her request until recently, when I accidentally stumbled upon her completed video. I have to say, she did a fantastic job! I love the art style, and the music, and...well...everything about this video makes me happy! :)
This is the first time one of my stories has been converted into a different medium, so I really can't express how pleased I am. I'm pretty sure that if I'm ever in a bad mood in the future, I can watch this video and feel better. There's just something magical about knowing that someone else enjoyed my writing enough to want to do something new with it.
Thanks so much, Laura!
